Peak has been working with the City of San Diego
for over 5 years providing solutions for all their
wireless needs. Peak's solutions are utilized by
many departments including, SDPD, DEA, INS, and
environmental services. Peak has proven its knowledge
and ability through a variety of projects including
our solution for environmental services.
The Peak environmental system is a routing, tracking,
and customer service solution for solid wastes
management fleets. It uses GPS tracking and wireless
telemetry to monitor vehicle actions (arm lifts,
capacity, etc) and movement in real-time. This
data is used to provide statistical analysis and
awareness. Improving the efficiency of routing
and dispatch operations ultimately lowers costs
by reducing mileage and overtime. Additional benefits
include the ability to offer improved customer
service and a better crew management system.
